Geocache Description:

7:00 PM till 10:00 PM

Saturday November 1, 2025

Vizzini said, "Go back to the beginning..."

It has been a tumultuous year with many changes, but we are excited to ask you to join us once again back on the farm where it all started for our 23rd Annual Halloween Geocaching event and this time it is a Community Celebration. We are going to make a slow transition back, so no hay ride, but we will have a bonfire and plenty of fun for all involved. Costumes are encouraged, but not required, so be yourself or someone else, it's your call. Posted coordinates are at the end of the driveway so come on up to the house and find the bonfire. Our resident wigglebutt, Fiona will be in attendance, as will the cats and random rodents, so we ask that you leave your pets at home this time.

The Food & Festivities

As usual, we will have a weenie roast at the fire with s'mores for dessert. We will provide hot dogs and the s'mores construction material. Please bring your favorite potluck dish to share with the group. We will provide bottled water, but we ask you to bring anything else you may want to drink. We will also set out some chairs, but if you want something comfier you might want to bering your own camp chair. Of course, we will have lots of time to sit around the bonfire and tell tall geocaching tales and stories of the spookiest cache hunts ever. I daresay that the opportunity to chat could go well past the Witching Hour. While this event is always family friendly, adults are welcome to enjoy any beverages they choose to bring, as long as they do it responsibly and discreetly. So grab your costume and join us one more time, with feeling.

So, what can you expect, besides the company of your fellow geocachers and a big bonfire?

  • All attendees will receive the special Community Celebration icon.

  • We will have at least one Geocaching Volunteer Reviewer on hand for a question and answer session to help explain the intricacies of the cache publication process.

  • There will be giveaways, so bring a desire to take home some free swag.

  • There may be an opportunity to log some of the rarer types of trackables, as long as you promise to not share the numbers. ;)

  • and more!!

Please post your "Will Attend" log so we know how many to plan for and so we can keep you abreast of changes and some surprises! We look forward to celebrating with you!
