Welcome to "Axe Me That Again", a Meet-n-Greet event combining geocaching camaraderie with the chance to throw axes and knives.
UPDATE: If the temperature forecast continues as it now stands, we will holding the meet-n-greet IN THE HOUSE, in the air conditioning, rather than in the garage. (Same coordinates.)
Of course, we will still have axe/knife throwing for those that wish, after lunch.
This is the second of which I hope will be an annual event. And this year is special, in that it is a Community Celebration Event, 2025.
25 years of geocaching. 25 years GPS has been available to the general public public.
I will be providing hot dogs and brats for those attending, along with iced tea, water and Coca-Cola to drink. If you want something else to drink, bring it yourself.
Additionally, if you have a camp chair you want to bring, do so. I'll try to have enough chairs, but you never know.
That said, if you are coming, or think you might come, please say you are going to attend, so I have enough food and drink.
After lunch, I have a thrown weapons range set up on the property, and have axes, knives and spears available for throwing.
Never thrown? No problem. Over the last 20 years I have taught 400 or more people, ages 6 to 60, how to throw, and I can teach you..
It's fun and easy.
Maybe I can a geocached-themed throwing competition. We'll see.

If you haven't found my "Axe Marks The Spot" field puzzle cache yet, it's at the far corner of my property.
And I hope to have a new field puzzle multi and a gadget cache go active the day of the event.
