16TH ANNUAL BIKE TRAIL EVENT

A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION EVENT!
CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF CACHING!

This is a very special year and a special event!  This is the only year for at least another 5 years you will be able to attend a Community Celebration Event. We are going to have an event to remember so don't miss this one. We will have give aways and if you don't want to stay till the end of this event but plan on attending the evening event we will hold your prize till the evening event.

So, what makes this event so special it is all of you who show up year after year!

WHEN: Saturday November 1, 2025 @ 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

WHERE: Parking lot off of Leetown Road @ posted coordinates

Just like all the other years we are once again providing transportation for part of the day. No transporation will be offered starting at 10:15am and during the event. We will be happy to take anyone from the event at 1pm or start picking you up atfte 1pm.

What does transportation provided mean? Well it means you give us a call and we come pick you up anywhere along the trail that we can drive to. We load your bike you tell us where your next stop along the trail is and we take you there. The cost is zero and tips are not allowed unless they are solutions to puzzle caches (I have never been tipped yet with a puzzle solution?). You read that right, today you can get picked up and brought to any location along the trail. Yes you can call more than once but we charge double the rate for the second trip. We even transport walkers so don't worry if you don't have a bike. Our bike rack adjusts very easy to accommodate any bike.

EVENT SCHEDULE will change as we are still working on the bigger plans for the day:

  • 11:00 to 11:30 meet other cachers talk shop, trade TB's.
  • 11:35 Greetings and announcements
  • 11:45 some of those planned activities
  • 12:45 Group Picture and prize give aways...
  • 1:00 GO have fun on the trial!

Everyone is welcome no mater how much caching you have done. We love putting faces to logs and having a chance to get to know other cachers. This is a very friendly event and many of us will already know each other but please don't let that deter you in any way we just get excited about caching when we are together. We want you to feel welcome otherwise we didn't do a very good job of hosting.

As in past years the new caches should all be published before the event so just make sure you load the GPS the night before and you should have all the trail caches. No bike is needed to do the trail you can walk the trail. The trail is paved but it is also hilly. This is not a rails to trails bike trail. From one end to the other is about 10.5 miles so it would be a total of 21 miles round trip. This spot is just about the middle of the trail and has plenty of parking. There should be well over 50 caches along the trail to find.
For a list of important waypoints along the trail see GC4Q1H2 Bike Trail - Welcome to the Trail.
