Every five years the City of Taft experiences Oildorado Days. This town "birthday" celebration honors the rich tradition of oil production that has long been a part of Taft's heritage. I would like to give Geocachers a reason to come enjoy the festivities while also enjoying the great caching opportunities Taft has to offer.
We will be meeting in the banquet room in the back of Jo's Restaurant at 510 Kern Street from 9 AM to 11 AM on Saturday October 11, 2025. Jo's has plenty of breakfast and lunch options, but no pruchase is necessary to attend. We will gather to talk Geocaching, trade trackables, and play some Geocaching themed games. Stay as long as you want and then go enjoy all the things happening in town today or wait until a host of new caches publish at 11 AM.
