GEOCACHING INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2025
This is both a GIFF and Community Event, so two souvenirs are up for grabs!
This is the 11th GIFF which showcases fun and interesting geocaching movies which geocachers have produced. This year's theme is "TFTC - Thanks For The Community".
More than 20 filmmakers from 10 countries were selected as finalists for the 11th biennial Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). From comedy to adventure, film noir to animation, filmmakers showed their appreciation for their local and global geoaching communities. What an amazing array of voices, ideas, and creativity!
This year's line up is as follows: (There are two Teams from South Africa!)
The owner of SA School of Weddings, has very kindly allowed us to make use of her venue. Join us for a bring & braai, and if the weather is hot pack in your swimming costume and towel.
After we eat, we will view the movies.
Please do indicate how many of you will be coming when you log your Will Attend, so we know how many people to expect.
DATE: Sunday, 16 November 2025
TIME: From 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Screening of the movies will start at 3:30pm
PLACE: SA School of Weddings, 11 Kildoon Road, Bryanston
BRING: Your picnic/food/meat, braai tongs, any other additions to eat, your drinks and a camping chair. Something easy to eat because we probably can't braai due to the rain.
