🎬 2025 Community Celebration GIFF Event! 🎬 Community Celebration Event

I've been racking my brain for months trying to craft the perfect event to celebrate 25 years of Geocaching when I realized why not make it a film festival?  But not just any film festival the Geocaching International Film Festival, with creative short form videos from creators all over the world!

This years GIFF (Geocaching International Film Festival) features films from 20 different Geocachers from all over the globe, including one submitted by somone very local to our area!  Many a dedicated cacher submitted an entry but only these daring few made it through to be finalists. Come out and celebrate their achievement and creativity by joining other local Geocachers for a viewing party.

For our viewing location I found a great local venue to work with, a new small business that is not only indoors, but features a gigantic display and loads of plush and comfortable seating. If the CCE and the GIFF are a match made in Heaven then this is a match made at 1554 Wadsworth Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150.  I'll bring some snacks and drinks but do feel free to bring your own if you like to munch while you watch.

To help keep the mood Geocaching focused I plan to bring a small cadere of yet-to-be-published gadgets caches with me and the worlds only copy of "Super Caching Bros" for anyone who wants to try and beat the high score.  Once we're all caught up and settled in we'll start the screening promptly at 1pm and let the good times (and digital film reel) roll.

Come out and enjoy some Geocaching company, appreciate all the hardwork of the GIFF film makers, celebrate 25 years of Geocaching, help support a small business, see what I'm cooking in the gadget department and maybe even find a some local caches aftewards.  That sounds like two hours well spent to me!
