The Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area welcomes you to the Carroll County Public Library in Westminster, Maryland for the Kickoff of the new Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area America 250 GeoTour. This GeoTour will consist of geocaches in historic and interesting locations in Carroll, Frederick, and Washington County that tell the story of the history of our country in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The event will take place on the lower level in the Exploration Commons Large Meeting Room on Friday, September 19th from 12 noon until 4pm. Besides parking at the Library, a couple other parking areas have been given in the waypoints listed below.
