It's time for the 2025
Geocaching International Film Festival and Community Celebration Event
Are you asking yourself, "What is a GIFF?"
- GIFF is a worldwide contest for the best short film about Geocaching.
- GIFF 2025 includes an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers for geocachers.
- For several years Groundspeak has invited geocachers to make and submit creative, short films about geocaching. Tonight's event is an opportunity to view the films of the finalists for 2025's Geocaching International Film Festival.
Location: Johnson County Public Library - Franklin Branch
Time: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The movie will begin promptly at: 2:00 p.m.
Event details:
- The movie will be viewed on the large screen, with no previews to sit through. 😉
- Bring snacks if you want but please don't make a mess
- Unlike the local theater you are welcome to sneak in your favorite movie going snacks.
- Of course, you are welcome to bring whatever film watching foods you'd like most or just come and enjoy what we have on hand.
- Of course, you are more than welcome to come empty handed.
- By attending this event, you will receive the official GIFF 2025 digital souvenir.
here are this year’s 20 GIFF finalists. These films stand out for their creativity, production quality, content, and contribution to the global geocaching community.
