Come join us for a BYO picnic on Monday 26th May 12.00 to 15.00 at the wonderful deserted village of Tyneham.
We will be near the old stables where there are picnic tables available but they are limited so please do bring your own blankets/chairs if possible.
Tyneham village was evacuated in December 1943 for military training during the second world war and the village has been deserted ever since, but many of the buildings survive and the church (still used for occasional services) and the school now house excellent exhibitions about the village and villagers. Please note that the exhibitions in Tyneham school and Tyneham church are open from 10am until 4pm when the village is open to the public.
It's a great chance to catch up with each other, meet new cachers, swap TB's, puzzle over puzzle caches and hear about all the latest caching "adventures" and of course the obligatory birthday cake.
We will also be joined by a member of the 'Severn Mega' team and there may be some merchandise available.

You can visit the Severn Mega website for more information.
