Den 11. Juli 2015… ☀️ e waarme Summerdag, 42 Kilometer vu Saarburg op Orscholz. Ech war bei engem geféierte Marathon ënnerwee, wéi op eemol e Wanderkolleg 🚶🏼niewent mir ugefaangen huet no eppes ze sichen.
"Wat mëss du do?" hunn ech gefrot.
"Geocaching" koum et wéi aus der Pistoul geschoss! 💥
Ech hat bis dohi kee Plang 🤷🏼♂️, wat dat ass… ech hu matgesicht, mee mir hunn näischt fonnt. Déi Dous wollt sech einfach net weisen! ❌
E puer Kilometer méi spéit… do war en: GC3FYP3 🗺️ – mäin éischte Geocache! An deem Moment huet mäi Geocaching-Liewen ugefaangen! 🥳

On July 11, 2015… ☀️ a warm summer day, 42 kilometers from Saarburg to Orscholz. I was taking part in a guided marathon 🏃♂️ when suddenly a hiking buddy 🚶🏼 next to me started searching for something.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Geocaching" came the reply – like a shot! 💥
Up to that moment, I had no idea 🤷🏼♂️ what that was… I joined in the search, but we didn’t find anything. The cache just didn’t want to show itself! ❌
A few kilometers later… there it was: GC3FYP3 🗺️ – my very first geocache! From that moment, my geocaching life began! 🥳
54 days later my account 49Tiger was born. Now, exactly 10 years later 🎉, I want to celebrate this birthday 🎂 with you – and at the same time also join in the celebrations for the 25th birthday of Geocaching!
Get ready for an evening full of stories 📖, memories 🧭 and little surprises 🎁. What exactly will happen? You’ll find out… when you come! 🤫
