Platform ladders

The platform ladder is a self-supporting portable ladder that is non-adjustable in length. The hinged design allows easy storage and transport and the top step is a large platform allowing space for one to work. The top platform is surrounded on three sides by a railing at least three feet higher than the platform. Most platform laddars are between two and eighteen feet and after you've tried one and felt how convenient it is to help work at that specific height, you will want one, or even multiple to cover various heights.

This ladder geo-art is made of all ammo cans spray painted to blend in, but they are pretty easy to find. This parcel of land is owned by the state of Idaho, managed by the rural development department of agriculture, and is occasionally used for open range grazing of cattle. We have permission for these geocaches to be here and to find them. There are two fences dividing the geo-art that we can pass at the wire gates. Make sure to close any gates you open, though you can step over most of them. 

Hiking

This series is intended to be hiked to. The fences make it hard to access by off road vehicles or bikes, and the farm vehicle trails only get you so far. It really is easier to just hike. I wasn't told we cannot have vehicles here, but they encouraged foot traffic. Park at the parking coordinates and you'll be in the optimal spot to both do the geo-art, and the bonus cache. All in all it will take you between 90 and 180 minutes. Make sure to bring plenty of water as this is a desert and it gets hot out here. Expect sagebrush, and uneven ground with occasional animal holes. Perform a tick check once you get home since this is Idaho.

Letterboxing

A letterbox is a type of geocache with a stamp included inside. The stamp needs to stay inside the container and is not a trade item. You can use your ink pad to stamp your personal letterboxing book with this stamp, and use your own personal stamp to leave a mark in this geocache's logbook. Signing and dating like a traditional geocache is perfectly fine too.

Bonus cache

There is a bonus cache in this area, GCATT26, and you need coordinate information that is spread across four of the letterboxes in this geo-art. The info is at the top of the geocaching log in each case. Take note of the four parts as you do the geo-art, one last step to find the true bonus coordinates and you're all set.
