Some times its hard to see the wood for the trees. (or in this case the bamboo) If you're looking for trees - you've come to the right place. Welcome to Arderne Gardens, home of a huge collection of exotic trees. Take some time to wander around the beautiful garden and marvel at some of the largest trees in South Africa. Visit the Moreton Bay Fig (Wedding Tree), one of 4 Champion trees in the garden. This cache is located close to the gate and should be a quick park and grab (depending on how good your eyes are!) It can be combined with my other caches in Arderne Gardens: Ancient Giants Multi (GCB6WW3) and Mahatma (GCB8NYT) for a total of 3 smileys.
There is ample parking on either side of Main Road or down Harfield Road.
About the cache:
The cache's proximity to the gate and security kiosk as well as lots of foot traffic near GZ means that extra care will be needed in retrieving and replacing the cache. Please be on your guard.
A massive tree stump nearby serves as an ideal desk to sign the log. GPS was abit wobbly due to overhead foliage.
