Mound City is known for its proximity to the Loess Bluffs formed by the glacier movement and wind currents. The Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge is just outside of town and offers a short drive around various pools of ducks and geese in the fall and spring. There is also nesting Bald Eagles year round. Always an experience to see what you might find.
This is a large park and grab cache that should be relatively easy to find. We have the property owners permission for this hide and he requests searching only during daylight hours. Plenty of area to park on site. Family friendly. Feel free to leave any swag or travel bugs behind but remember to not be greedy and make even trades with the swag. Please leave this cache like you found it for the enjoyment of the next geo-cacher.
