Hunt Through Highfields Library Multi-Cache

UPDATE - Due to some changes in the library and the cache at the beginning coordinates going missing, this cache is currently only doable with assistance from library staff. We are working on updating it so each stage is functional again. Please bear with us and thank you to those who've completed the cache.
 

*THINGS TO NOTE:

• 🥰 Huge thank you to the Highfields Library staff for their permission and assistance in placing this Cache. The geokiddos and I had a lot of fun designing this and it's one of our first hides, so we hope you enjoy it!
• 📌 If you get stuck, the Library staff are aware of the Cache and have an 'info sheet' they can use to give you some hints.
• ⏱ Allow plenty of time, this Cache has 4 stages to complete in order to find the final physical Cache containing the log book.
• 🏫 Remember to check Highfields Library opening hours to ensure the library is open when you visit.
• ✅ Below are the basic instructions for each stage, however, in order to complete all stages, you must enter your answers into each Solution Checker to receive the next 'puzzle' to decipher.
• ✏️ Be sure to note down the phrases you find along the way. One of the words is KEY in being able to log this Cache.

STAGE 1: Use the coordinates to find a physical container (small, magnetic) that will reveal your first clue.

Complete the following steps to receive instructions for Stage 2:

1. Decipher the code located at the listed coordinates to reveal the title of a book located in the nearby library.
2. Use the designated computer inside the library (or the MyTRlibrary app) to determine the section in which the book is located.
3. Enter the last word in the book title (all capitals) into the Stage 1 Solution Checker to receive instructions for Stage 2.

Validate your STAGE 1 solution with certitude.

STAGE 2: Use the book you identified during Stage 1 to decipher the code phrase.

Complete the following steps to receive instructions for Stage 3:

1. Using ‘Page.Line.Word.Letter’ decipher the code given to you by the Solution Checker to reveal the next code phrase.
2. Enter the 7 letter word from the code phrase (all capitals) into the Solution Checker to receive instructions for Stage 3.

Validate your STAGE 2 solution with certitude.

STAGE 3: Use the instructions given to you by the Solution Checker from Stage 2 to decipher the code phrase.

Complete the following steps to receive instructions for the final Stage:

1. Use letters from signs around the library to decipher the final clue. Some point directly to letters, others will give you an equation; convert the answer to its alphabetical equivalent.
2. Enter the 4th word from the deciphered phrase (all capitals) into the Solution Checker to receive the final clue to find the Cache!

STAGE 4: Decipher the clues located in the riddle given to you by the Stage 3 Solution Checker to find the Cache.
