Klaipėdos senamiestis - seniausia istorinė Klaipėdos miesto dalis, įsikūrusi prie Danės upės žiočių. Klaipėdos senamiesčiui būdingas taisyklingas gatvių tinklas, senoji fachverkinės konstrukcijos architektūra, būdinga Vokietijos miestams, bei išlikę XVII–XVIII a. Klaipėdos tvirtovės gynybinių įtvirtinimų fragmentai. Klaipėdos senamiestis yra geometriškai labai taisyklingai išdėstytas, beveik visos gatvės susikerta stačiuoju kampu. Klaipėdos senamiestyje yra Senoji (Pirmoji) perkėla. XV amžiaus 2-ojoje pusėje gyventojai ėmė kurtis dešiniajame Senosios Dangės krante buvusiame pusiasalyje - dabartiniame Senamiestyje. XVI amžiaus pradžioje prasidėjus Klaipėdos pilies rekonstrukcijai į pusiasalį susikėlė visi miestiečiai. Po 1540m. gaisro susiformavo dabartinis gatvių tinklas.
