International Geocaching Day 2024

Today is International Geocaching Day! Come gather for a bit to chat with other cachers, trade trackables, etc. And you will event get a souvenir for coming to this event!

Get ready for a day that’s out of this world! International Geocaching Day 2024 is just around the corner, promising a day filled with adventure and camaraderie.

Join the global geocaching community as we celebrate the 13th anniversary of International Geocaching Day. This unique holiday, born out of the 2011 Geocaching Block Party, is a testament to our shared love for adventure and exploration. Log any geocache, Adventure Lab® Location, or Event on August 17 to earn the International Geocaching Day 2024 souvenir!

Ok I'm going to be completely honest with you: I forgot to get my cache on IGD last year. 

And also the year before. 

Soooo…this event is going to be my cache for the day! (Unless I forget to log it or something…) [Scary music plays]

Here are the details of the event:

When: August 17, 2024, 10:00 - 10:45 (you can stay a little later if you want)

Where: Ragle Ranch Park, Picnic tables (same spot as my Solar Eclipse Event, if you went to that)

Why: ummm… to see fellow cachers? (just don't read the part above about how I forgot about it last year)
