DE: Bäreneck ist der deutsche Name von Pernek und wird so auch oft auf der deutschen Karte angezeigt. Ein Cache in Pernek an einer Stelle an der sehr viele Einheimische aus der Gegend, sowie vor allem auch Motorradfahrer, vorbeikommen. Am Weg zum Pezinská baba gelangt man auf der Straße über viele schöne Kurven bis nach Pezinok. Der letzte Teil der Strecke ist jedoch nicht mehr so schön Kurvig. Rauf zum Pezinská baba und auch runter Richtung Pezinok ist es aber eine Kurvenreiche schöne Motorradstrecke und die die beste Bergüberquerung in der Gegend!
Vorsichtig sein ist angebracht, da nicht alle Kurven immer so gut asphaltiert sind, einige Winkel können auch tückisch sein und die Straße ist ziemlich beliebt bei Motorradfahrer, die auch gerne mal im Hang-off um die Kurven kommen. Leider übertreiben es auch viele und daher gibt es am Wochenende öfterns auch mal Rettungs und Polizeieinsatz bei Unfällen. Tagsüber können viele Autos und nachts das Risiko von Wildtieren.
Hier in Pernek gibt es auch ein nettes Lokal die Pernek Mühle in dem auch der Motorradfahrer eine Pause einlegen kann oder etwas Essen und Trinken kann. Der Mountainbiker findet am Pezinska Baba einige Routen "Babske Trail" und der Skifahrer im Winter findet ein paar sehr kleine Skipisten. Der Wanderer findet hier auch sehr nette Möglicheiten vom Berg unten oder oben kann man sehr weite Routen bis nach Pezinok, Modra oder auch Kuchyna Wandern.
Der Ort liegt in der Záhorská nížina (Záhorie-Tiefland) am Osthang der Kleinen Karpaten in der Landschaft Záhorie (Marchauen). Die Grenzen des Landschaftsschutzgebietes Kleine Karpaten liegen knapp außerhalb der Gemeinde. Pernek liegt an der Kreuzung Landesstraßen Pezinok – Malacky und Lozorno – Jablonica und ist 13 km von Malacky, 20 Kilometer von Pezinok und 35 Kilometer von Bratislava entfernt.

On the way to Pezinská baba the road takes you through many beautiful bends to Pezinok, but the last part of the route is not so curvy.
The best mountain crossing in the area. Be careful, as not all bends are well paved, some corners can be treacherous and the road is quite popular with motorcyclists who like to come around the bends in a Hang-off. Unfortunately, many people overdo it and as a result there are often rescue and police calls out to accidents at weekends. There can be a lot of cars during the day and the risk of wild animals at night. Here in Pernek there is also a nice restaurant, the Pernek Mill, where also motorcyclists can take a break or have something to eat and drink. Mountainbiker will find a few "Babske Trail" routes on Pezinska Baba and skiers in winter will find a few very small ski slopes. Hikers will also find many great opportunities here: from the top or bottom of the mountain you can hike long routes to Pezinok, Modra or Kuchyna.

The borders of the Little Carpathians protected landscape area are just outside the municipality. Pernek is located at the intersection of the Pezinok-Malacky and Lozorno-Jablonica state roads and is 13 km from Malacky, 20 km from Pezinok and 35 km from Bratislava.
SK: Bäreck je nemecký názov Pernek a často sa takto zobrazuje na nemeckej mape. Keš v Perneku na mieste, kadiaľ prechádza množstvo domácich z okolia, ale aj motorkárov. Cestou na Pezinskú babu vás cesta prevedie mnohými krásnymi zákrutami až do Pezinka. Posledná časť trasy však už nie je taká kľukatá. Až na Pezinskú babu a aj dole smerom na Pezinok je to krásna, kľukatá motorkárska trasa a najlepší horský prechod v okolí!
Buďte opatrní, pretože nie všetky zákruty sú vždy dobre spevnené, niektoré uhly môžu byť zradné a cesta je pomerne obľúbená u motorkárov, ktorí sa tiež radi motajú v zákrutách.Žiaľ, veľa ľudí to preháňa a preto často dochádza počas víkendov k nasadeniu záchranárov a polície pri nehodách.Cez deň tu môže byť veľa áut a v noci je riziko divokej zveri.
Tu v Perneku je aj pekná reštaurácia Pernecký mlyn, kde si môžu oddýchnuť aj motorkári, alebo si dať niečo na jedenie a pitie. Horský cyklista nájde na Pezinskej Babe niekoľko trás "Babského chodníka" a lyžiar v zime zase niekoľko veľmi malých zjazdoviek. Veľmi pekné možnosti tu nájde aj peší turista, z úpätia či z vrcholu hory sa dajú vyraziť veľmi dlhé trasy do Pezinka, Modry alebo aj Kuchyne.
Miesto sa nachádza v Záhorskej nížine na východnom svahu Malých Karpát v krajine Záhorie (Marcová dolina). Hranice CHKO Malé Karpaty ležia mimo obce. Pernek sa nachádza na križovatke štátnych ciest Pezinok - Malacky a Lozorno - Jablonica a je vzdialený 13 km od Malaciek, 20 km od Pezinka a 35 km od Bratislavy.
