Senju Flame Earthenware

 

1959年に長岡信用金庫によって寄贈された、巨大な火焔土器。(馬高遺跡で発見された火焔土器の拡大模造品)

作者は廣井吉之助。“千手(せんじゅ)”は町の名前。

 

A huge flame pottery donated by the Nagaoka Shinkin Bank in 1959. (An enlarged replica of the flame pottery discovered at the Umataka ruins)

The artist is Yoshinosuke Hiroi.
