Have you ever wanted to cache with the Cs? 
Or be a C for the day?? Well, this is your chance!!! Come out and join us for a fun filled afternoon at louislynn's 85 acre rural property on Sunday Sept 29 and be a C for the day! Lol Hike the trail system to find some really cool and fun handcrafted caches (placed for the day) pick up your cards at each cache and try to make your best poker hand... with the top teams winning prizes.
Coordinates for the caches will be made available a few weeks before the event for those who wish to use their device, but are not really necessary as we will provide well marked maps of the trail system. Running shoes or hikers are the recommended footwear as we rarely have water in the woods this time of the year. The terrain is mostly flat with a few gently rolling hills and is suitable for all ages.... and is both child and canine friendly. There are a series of groomed trails and pathways throughout the bush and bushwhacking is NOT necessary to visit all the hides.
We have changed things up this year food wise and rather than a BBQ we decided to try pizzas... with lots of variety. So, we will provide snacks, pizza and cold drinks... feel free to bring munchies if so desired, but please no salads, desserts or other potluck items as we are trying to simplify things as the event grows. Lots of parking on site and don't forget to bring lawn chairs for the pizza party and prizes.
As this is an outdoor event with lots of prep work, weather is a factor and ..... in case of EXTREME weather and we have to postpone, the event will be the following Sunday Oct 6... fingers crossed, we haven't postponed yet!
