Geocache Description:

We spent several months of Covid taking the kids cross country criss-crossing the US several times and hitting all of the continental US states and several provinces in Canada as well.  We made it a goal to find at least 1 geocache in every state and have collected all of the virtual geocaching State badges and some goodies along the way as well.

We thought we would hide a cache in the closest park and share some of the goodies, stickers and travel bugs that we've picked up along the way.  Please add any travel swag that you've picked up in your travels to share with fellow geocachers.  A ziplock bag holds the log and travel stickers.  This cache is big enough to hold several small travel bugs as well and would be a good place to drop them off.

Through our travels, we've found some super creative caches along the way from a fake air conditioning condenser unit with a giant trash can full of goodies inside (KS), gigantic human-sized 6 foot tube cache hung under a bridge (IA), the smallest church in America (GA), bird house in the middle of the woods (ME), fishing for a cache through a pipe (SC), etc.  We'd love to hear about some of your most creative finds that you've stumbled upon in the comments.

This cache has been approved by Fairfax County Park Authority.  The park is closed at night so no Night Caching is allowed.  Happy Traveling and Caching!
