Geocache Description:

Going hiking in the area and it reminded me a little of the game The Last of Us. Something about the vibes sounded right. Decided to put a Cache in a pretty standstill place.

Some fun facts about the area.

The trails, though overgrown are popular with horses, but normal hiking is dandy too. The area used to be private property dubbed 'Oak Grove Ranch' but is not public BLM land.

The trailhead dubbed 'Booger Red'

I've always wondered why the campsite and area is named Booger Red. Turns out, "Booger Red was a gifted horseman and cowboy who rode into the Four mile area of Teller County about 1915. He got his unlikely nickname from his thatch of red hair and the verb" to booger", a cowboy term describing a horse shying or running wild. He worked on several Teller County ranches, including the Witcher's 76 ranch and the Rolofsons' ranch. More Info :)

FTF is awarded to Ernie66!

If I were to give a hunch at where oh where this fun little cache would be, I might say the following...

outside not in, bring some extraction tools, what's out of place, and it may be a hop skip and a jump over a creek to get there
