Welcome to Walnut Lane Park, one of the parks in the West Pikeland park system. Here you will find grassy trails, good hiking, soccer fields, and at the southern end of the park a quiet shaded trail into the woods. There is also a paved walking trail, about a half mile loop, with benches at several spots along the way.
This is another in a set of caches placed in Walnut Lane Park. This one, while it should be easy to find once you get there, requires a bit of a traipse along the mowed grass trail to end up at GZ. While there you'll probably at least hear, if not see, several goats and chickens from the house tucked into a nook in the park. That's private property, and you don't need to venture there!
Enter the mowed trail from the top end of the parking lot., and follow the markers to stay on the trail. You do not need to leave the trail to find this cache. Seriously, it's in the middle of the trail. Please tuck the container back into it's hiding spot so it doesn't get trashed when the trail gets mowed.
