Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to all the Persons of Interest, those cachers whose hides really keep me interested in this silly little game. It’s also meant to acknowledge the entire New Mexican geocaching community.

When I first started out I was really into weeds19 and Mr. Waldo caches. Then came Birddroppings and Fugads and for awhile it seemed like it was just us 3 finding each other’s caches! Eventually I started hiking in the T or C area and discovered dnboe and bigthicket caches and in the Alamogordo area where I found mycn18’s caches. Nowadays, I like finding caches in the style of DesertRomantic and RMRR but my absolute favorite is Tonkabu. She’s changed the way I cache and I think without her hides I may have gotten bored and quit this long ago. So who’s your favorite cacher? Feel free to mention it in your log.

This particular cache is starting out as something of a TB hotel. It’s filled with 45 TBs honoring various NM cachers. (Unfortunately I couldn’t make one for everyone.) If you do find the cache please grab a TB (or a few TBs) and help me get them moving. These trackables would also love to meet their respective eponyms.

The hide itself is unremarkable but should be accessible to most. It will require a very short hike—just over 1/4 mile—up a small grassy hill. There are a few different prizes for the FTF to choose from so there will actually be prizes for the first several finders. Also, every finder may grab either a smiley stress ball or a NM keychain as my gift to you with no trading required.
