As a young boy I enjoyed climbing trees and as the years progressed I had other interests that took over. Now that I have become hooked on geocaching, some of my favourite caches to find are tree climbing caches that require no equipment. Just you and the tree.
Thus, this is a series of free tree climbing caches that require NO additional equipment just you versus the tree. HOWEVER, on this occasion I may have required a small nature's stepladder to help me up to the cache.
Nature's Ladder # - Kurri Kurri's Multi Cache
This cache is a black bison tube about 6m up this tree. This area is just next to the golf course. When placing this cache I did find myself a golf ball.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all caches can be found. If you choose to take on this cache please take care as we do not want our game to be in the news. I have made every attempt to make this a challenging but safe cache however, you need to decide whether or not you are able to do so safely. Please do not attempt it if you don't think you can get up, and back down safely and without hurting yourself.
Multi Cache
At the posted coordinates you will find a small container with some instructions. I think?
You will also find a length of rope. I have measured how far the cache is from this tree but I cannot remember in what direction it is. I think I had a projection of something in the 100 degree range.
Once you have the rope in hand, tie it to the tree. But which tree? There will be a hint on the tree. The tree where you shall find the final coordinates and bison tube is at the end of this rope, when it is full extended.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE TIME TO WIND THE ROPE UP AND RETURN IT AS FOUND
