2024 AGC XI - Busy Waterways is located above the edge of the Willamette River, which was the main source of transportation during the city of Albany's early history in the 1800's. From the first steamboat's arrival, to ferries transporting people, sheep, hogs, freight, and much more, this waterway has always been a busy place. To the west (left) you can see the supports from the original Steel Bridge, which was the longest bridge made of steel in Oregon when it was built in 1893. To the east (right) is the Ellsworth Bridge that replaced it.
Please respect the park's hours and only seek this cache from 6am-11pm. Bring your own pen. Remember to write down the codeword from inside the cache for the challenge.
7/1/25 Update: There are still a few coins left for cachers who haven't completed the challenge. Passports and coins are available at Comfort Suites at 100 Opal Ct. in Albany. Please remember, coins are one per household. Thank you!
