Azabudai is one of the most newly redeveloped areas in the ever-changing city of Tokyo. Located near the Tokyo Tower, the area is lined with skyscrapers and high-end boutiques, making it a popular destination for many visitors. The Azabudai area itself, by the way, is not a so-called "hill" but rather a valley surrounded by a plateau, and compared to other Azabu areas, it seems to have been a residential area for lower class samurai and Hatamoto (feudal warriors).
The cache was set up in an area with a series of strangely shaped buildings.

常に変化する街東京の中でも、ここ麻布台はもっとも新しく再開発されたエリアです。東京タワーにも近く、高層ビルや高級ブティックが軒を並べ、多くの旅行者の人気スポットとなっています。ところで麻布台エリア自体はいわゆる「高台」ではなく、台地に囲まれた谷部を指しており、他の麻布エリアに比べて下級武士や旗本の居住エリアだったようです。
キャッシュは不思議な形の建物が続くエリアに設置しました。
