Geocache Description:

The LOST24in24 series will be a set of 24 caches spread around Lancaster County in 2024.

There is no info to collect.

Just find them.

Silver Mine Park is a wonderful place to hike. There's open space. There's woods. Pequea Creek makes a peninsula around a big chunk of the park. You can visit in all seasons. There used to be a silver mine here. There are a whole bunch of geocaches of varying types - traditional, multi, mystery, earthcache, and letterbox.

This cache is a silver bison tube (*) tied on the creek side of a tree. Bring your own pen. Sign the log paper, roll it up, and stick the rolled paper in the lid so that it doesn't get squashed when you screw the bison back together. Make sure the bison isn't readily visible from the field when you walk away. The hide area is safe for children, but it is right beside the creek.

(*) If you don't know yet, a bison tube is a small metal tube the size of your little finger. This one is silver color and smaller than some bisons. Put the rolled log paper in the lid before screwing it back together.
