Your finds can be found any date, hidden any day of the month, any location, difficulty, terrain, or size. Unique months would mean that finding 1 virtual cache hidden May 2010, and 3 more hidden May 2011 would count as 2 points. Finding another 4 traditional caches hidden May 2010 would be another point (since it's a different type), putting you at 3 points, and the challenge asks for 500.
