Come join in on a CITO. Recently told this Harbour/lake has a fair amount of trash and debris that we will work to get cleaned up to restore this to a pristine environment. This event will start in the parking and launch area around/at the posted coords and we will clean items of trash that we find in and around the launch. We will take a group photo during the event.
You may wish to have your gloves, grabber tool or trash bag to collect your trash. (These are not provided).
We plan to have a group kayak the lake and clean up any trash along the shoreline after we finish the park and launch areas- you do not need to participate in this portion of the CITO. Just show up at the posted coords and clean up the land, claim the smiley and cheer those heading out in boats on! 🛶
This event will be rain or shine, but if there is inclement weather, the event may need to be adjusted.
