Ferenc tér
A tér, ami az 1838-as jeges árvíznek köszönheti létrejöttét, ma a főváros egyik legkedveltebb közterülete. A gyermek József Attila itt sétáltatott tyúkot, szedett mozibelépőt, segédkezett a kuruzsló Mészárosné vajákos szertartásainál. Itt kerestek békés megoldást az ’56-os forradalmárok a BM női rendőrszállásának lakóival, de ahogy a legtöbb zöldterületre, ide is temettek azokban az időkben áldozatokat.

Ferenc square
The square, which owes its creation to the ice flood of 1838, is today one of the capital's most popular public spaces. Here, the child Attila József walked the hen, bought cinema tickets, and helped with the butter ceremonies of Mrs. Mészáros from Kuruzsló. Here, the revolutionaries of 1956 sought a peaceful solution with the residents of the women's police quarters of the BM, but like most green areas, victims were buried here in those days.
