Take a stroll along York's knavesmire to the racecourse, past the trimmed grass to a meadow of longer grasses and wildflowers. Perfect habitat for small mammals and the kestrels who hunt them here. You may have one hovering nearby as I did when hiding the cache!
There's a great view of the grandstand here but beware the many joggers amd walkers going by!
