This cache is located in a local park just out of town. The Woolfrey House is an important heritage building in the Medicine Hat area and is listed as one of the oldest houses in town. This two storey log house was built in the late 1800's on farmland outside of the city and was later moved to this location when the family donated it to the City of Medicine Hat to become part of a living museum. It is filled with historical artifacts set up as a working farm house during that time, and is sometimes open for tours during the summer months. If it's closed when you arrive, there are many photos available of the interior if you search online.
This cache is located just outside of the yard of this historical home. No need to pass through the gate. Please use stealth and be respectful in your search to protect the integrity of this heritage site. Reminder also to watch your step in this area as many prairie critters also call this park their home.
Happy caching and have fun!
