[EN] Erberge is a small village in Selonia, located between the Dienvidsuseja River and the Lithuanian border. On the way to or from Daugavpils, there is a 70 km/h speed limit sign on the highway, but have you ever taken the turn off the main road to see what treasures lie here? Now you definitely have a reason to do so! Erberge would be perfect for an Adv Lab with a bonus cache, but since the issuance of credits has stopped and there are other ideas in mind, let's make it a simple multi-cache that can certainly be completed in under an hour.
The village of Erberge has developed around Erberge Manor since the mid-15th century. This manor, along with Salas Manor (Holmhof), was acquired by the von Hahn family, who built the manor house in the classical style in 1868, shaping the modern-day contours of Erberge village. During the agrarian reform, the manor's land was divided into more than 150 farms. The von Hahn family moved to live in Erberge Mill, and since 1930, the former Erberge Manor house has been home to Mazzalves Primary School. The population of Erberge was recorded as 291 in 2021.
