The Bethanga Recreation Reserve is a beautiful community run pet friendly campsite. . Its adjacent oval is home to the Bethanga Cricket Club, the Bethanga Pony Club and a number of other community activities.
A lovely walk into the town, to explore the Soldiers Memorial Hall and visit other Bethanga attractions and facilities. Say hello to the 4 legged and 2 winged local residents that live in the paddock next to the pub.
This hide was an opportunistic hide while we set up the final point of our Adventure Lab, ‘Hume Weir Tourist Drive.’ During a cold winters day setting up the final coordinates for the Adventure Lab, we noticed that there wasn’t a lot of Caches around Bethanga so we had a look around the town as to where we could hide a few traditional hides. We cruised around the recreational reserve so Crew Member #3 could go pet a horse and that’s when we picked our spot.
