Jabba's wormy, slimy appearance seems to match his profession: a gangster crime lord that operated a criminal empire on the Outer Rim world of Tatooine. As one studies the accounts of Jabba's influence, plots, and underhanded deals, the deception and revenge become Jabba's downfall. When Han Solo lost his smuggled cargo for Jabba, he was taken prisoner and frozen in carbonite and then given to the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia go in to rescue Han, but Leia is discovered and taken as a slave. This became a group effort to rescue Han Solo, and in the process, Leia ends up killing Jabba, Han is freed, and they all manage to escape.
