Most small town have parks where children can play on swings, slides and other playground equipment and families can have a picnic or maybe a person can just sit and relax on a park bench and enjoy listiening to the sight and sounds of nature. Hot summer afternoons might be spent with friends at the nearby swimming pool. The sounds of "Play Ball can also be heard on summer evening at nearby ball field and s often a place to socialize with friends and neighbors. Not only will you find shops along Main Street you might find a bench to sit and watch the world go by or a parade or maybe visit with another shopper. Schools also play a big part in the life of a small town.
