Startpunkt ist der kleine Wanderparkplatz (Englalm) an der Sonnbergstraße. Von dort über die Forststraße 8A und deren abkürzenden Wanderabschnitte bis nach Gols.
Alternativ kann man auch den großen Parkplatz im Winnebachtal (Tiefrastenhütte) als Startpunkt ausä¤hlen, von dort über den Weg Nr.23 (23A) bis ca. 300 Meter vor die Astnerbergalm wandern, dort bei der Moarhütte links auf den Weg Nr.8 (Alpenrosensteig) abzweigen und bis auf Gols hoch wandern.
Ab Gols geht es dann auf einem unmarkierten aber gut ersichtlichen Weg/Steig nach Norden. Diesen Weg aufwärts an der Hütte vorbei durch das Waldstück und anschließenden hügeligen Grasabschnitten folgen bis es unterhalb des Gipfels felsiger wird. Dort muss man sich rechts halten und das kurze, steilere felsige und ganz leicht ausgesetzte Stück überwinden. Dort sind noch alte Markierungen vorhanden, die aber nicht besonders gut ersichtlich sind. Danach geht es direkt zum Gipfelkeuz.
Den unvollständig und falsch eingetragengen nicht markierten Wandersteig in der OSM-Karte habe ich im Teilabschnitt von Gols bis zum Gipfel berichtigt und vervollständigt. Dieses Kartenmaterial kann in diesem Bereich recht gut als Referenz herangezogen werden.

Il punto di partenza è il piccolo parcheggio escursionistico (Englalm) alla via Sonnberg. Da lì si prende la strada forestale 8A e i suoi brevi tratti escursionistici fino a Gols.
In alternativa potete scegliere come punto di partenza anche il grande parcheggio nella valle Winnebachtal (Tiefrastenhütte), da lì proseguire lungo il sentiero n. 23 (23A) fino a ca. 300 metri prima della malga Astnerbergalm, quindi svoltare a sinistra sul sentiero n.8 (Alpenrosensteig ) e si sale a Gols.
Da Gols ci si dirige poi verso nord su un sentiero/pendio non segnalato ma ben visibile. Seguire questo sentiero oltre la capanna poi attraverso il bosco e successivi tratti erbosi collinari finchè non diventa più roccioso sotto la vetta. La bisogna tenersi a destra e superare il breve tratto piu ripido, roccioso e poco esposto. Ci sono ancora vecchi segni lì, ma non sono particolarmente visibili. Poi andiamo dritto in su fino alla croce di vetta.
Ho corretto e completato nella cartina OSM il sentiero nel tratto da Gols alla vetta che prima conteneva dei errori. Questo materiale cartografico può essere utilizzato abbastanza bene come riferimento in quest'area.

The starting point is the small hiking car park (Englalm) on the road Sonnbergstrasse. From there, take the forest road 8A and its shortcuts to Gols.
Alternatively, you can choose the large car park in the Winnebachtal (Tiefrastenhütte) as the starting point, from there hike along path no. 23 (23A) to about 300 meters before the Astnerbergalm, at the Moarhütte turn left onto path no. 8 (Alpenrosensteig) and hike up to Gols.
From Gols, you then head north on an unmarked but clearly visible path/trail. Follow this path up past the hut through the forest and subsequent hilly grassy sections until it becomes rockier below the summit. There you have to keep to the right and overcome the short, steeper, rocky and slightly exposed section. There are still old markings there, but they are not particularly visible. Then you go straight to the summit cross.
I have corrected and completed the incomplete and incorrectly entered unmarked hiking trail in the OSM map in the section from Gols to the summit. This map material can be used quite well as a reference in this area.
