This is a quick park and grab on your way to the many outdoor activities offered on Casper Mountain. There is parking on the side street and a paved path to the cache. Be careful of muggles as this path is frequently used by walkers, runners, and bikers. You're looking for a non-traditional small cache that is accessible by anyone, as long as you think like a geocacher. Bring a pencil, there's only room for a log and maybe a trackable tag. Casper Mountain Road is closed several times per year due to snowfall or adverse conditions. When it's not closed, visitors have many options for recreation such as Rotary Park and Garden Creek Falls, camping, Hogadon Basin Ski Area, Casper Mountain Multi-use Trails, Adams Memorial Archery Range, and Crimson Dawn.
The Casper Mountain Biathlon Club is also located on the mountain and boasts a world-class national training site that hosts Olympic and Paralympic athletes and hosted the 2023 US Biathlon National Championships.
