Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the heart of the town that is considered the Gateway to the Big Muddy. Just a mere 20 minute drive south, beautiful prairies and farmlands turn into the most colorful and picturesque valley, known as the Big Muddy. The Big Muddy Valley and Badlands were formed 12,000 years ago from a glacial melt flood from the last ice age. Stop and locate this cache either on your way to or from an exciting hike on and around the incredible Castle Butte that stands alone in the middle of the Big Muddy like a sore thumb.  The cache is in a clear plastic container with "Geocache" inscribed with black marker on all sides. Reminder: this cache is located in the town considered to be the Gateway to the Big Muddy! Good luck!
