This cache can be found at Appalachian Community Center Park. I've driven by this area many times and finally stopped to find a place for this cache. As I've driven by over the years, I've seen baseball games taking place and events in the nearby pavillions, but it tends to remain quiet most of the time.
For this cache, you'll be climbing a pine tree. As you enter the park, the tree will be on your right. Find a nice spot to park (there's plenty of spaces) and then make your way to the posted coordinates. The cache can be found on the side of the tree nearest Route 857. Expect to climb toward the top half of the tree, and beware of sap and pine needles. There are ample branches to choose from, and it should be a fairly easy climb for those who like these types of caches.
Please bring your own pen. This cache will be tough to grab if there's a baseball game on the southern-most field, and, of course, this is a public park so watch out for muggles.
Happy caching!
