Geocache Description:

WOT!:

This cache is named after Captain Sensible's 1982 single "Wot!."  I got inspired to hide this cache based on Laurelily's "What IS This??!!" series after discovering something along the Auburn Trail and questioning its history or purpose.

I name all my caches after songs and of course the obvious choice for this cache was the 1982 single "WOT!" by Captain Sensible.  I loved this song when it came out and actually purchased the 12 inch single.  It features a funky backing track with a repeated chorus that has been described as Sugarhill Gang - inspired new wave disco.  I think it is danceable and fun!

This cache is located along the Auburn Trail near Mertensia Park.  Parking coords for the trail head are posted, but plenty of additional parking is available at Mertensia  Park.

You are searching for a small container that can hold a little swag and small trackables.  Please bring your own pen and rehide well.  There is a FTF wooden nickel for the "First to Find."  Please share your theory about the final location and "Wot is this?"
