Greetings from Augusta, Georgia, home of the Masters® golf tournament. Part of our geocaching experience involves hosting travel events. As a result, it's been our pleasure to meet geocachers in Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Mexico, and of course, the USA.
This time, our travels bring us to the great Northwest. We're excited to return to our one-time home state, having served here in the US Air Force at McChord AFB (in Tacoma) from 1978-1980. Geocaching was a far-off dream at that time. Our good friends and fellow cachers IAmKevman and BugsysByTheBeach will join us in hosting.
We cordially invite local all geocachers to come out to this open-air riparian location for a short meet-up. We will exchange stories (no doubt a few tall tales), share some laughs, and perhaps swap a trackable or two. We'll even amuse you with our southern accents - no extra charge! It also happens that a Virtual cache - GC7B73K - is within easy walking distance along the river.
