Come join us for a Meet and Greet on Saturday morning, August 24, 2024 from 10:00 am (when the museum opens) to 10:30 am inside the Chrysler Museum's Huber Court, followed by an optional tour of the special exhibit - "Early Days: Indigenous Art from the McMichael Canadian Art Collection" led by Episcodad at 10:30. This optional tour will be about 30-45 minutes in duration.
This exhibition showcases the diversity and vitality of indigenous art in Canada ranging from 18th century ceremonial regalia to the work of vanguard artists of the 1960's, 70's and 80's. It explores our relationship to the land, to our ancestors, and to each other.
The Chrysler Museum is located at One Memorial Place, Norfolk. Admission is free.
