7th August - Keeping Creepers at Bay at Alney
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Is at the parking coords in the Alney Island Reserve car park. Please note you can only access it leaving Gloucester, on the westbound side of Westgate Bridge.
Where: Meet in the car park for 09:30. Or after that time find us working along the cycle path, near the main CITO coordinates or if you can't spot us message me in the app and I will let you know where we have got to!
What: Today we will be continuing to keep the cycle path clear, trimming back any bramble that is starting to encroach, whilst being mindful of any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools but we ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own drinks as it can be thirsty work!
