This three-stage multi geocache is part of the SideTracked series that is popular in the UK and throughout the world. SideTracked caches are designed to be a relatively quick cache find around train stations for travellers however this one is slightly more involved.
There's a pencil included but it's always good to bring your own writing implement to sign the log.

To Find This Cache.....
1. Go to both the northern and southern end of the old John Whitton Bridge, either one first. This is now a shared pedestrian/cycleway so watch out for bicycles. You're looking for a laminated code word attached with a cable tie at each end.
2a. Northern / Meadowbank End - Adjacent to solar panel light pole TC90908 in the vicinity of the brown overhead light gantry. Top horizontal rail of cyclone wire fence.
2b Southern / Rhodes End - Eastern or city side of pathway. Vertical pole supporting a gate of the cyclone wire fence. Approximately 20m from end of bridge.
3. When you have both code words, click on the Certitude Icon below and enter the two code words together, no spaces, to receive the GZ coordinates and hint. If you are unsuccessful in Certitude on your first try, swap the code words around.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.

John Whitton was the Engineer-in-Charge for the New South Wales Government Railways, serving between 1856 and 1890 and is considered the Father of New South Wales Railways. Under his supervision, it is estimated that 3,494 km of railway around New South Wales and Victoria were completed. Whitton was responsible for the construction of parts of the Main Western railway line, in particular the section over the Blue Mountains and the Lithgow Zig Zag, and much of the Main Southern railway line.

The John Whitton Bridge carries the Main Northern railway line across the Parramatta River, located between the Sydney suburbs of Rhodes and Meadowbank.
The original double track Meadowbank Bridge opened on 17th September, 1886 as part of the construction of the Main Northern railway line. It was a lattice truss bridge designed by John Whitton, the Chief Engineer of the New South Wales Government Railways. In 2000, the original bridge was refurbished and reopened for bike and pedestrian use.
