As someone who has studied and taught music for most of my life, this is one of my favourite topics to pair with one of my favourite hobbies….geocaching!
ACCORDION
The accordion is very different than most other instruments in that it can play more than one note at a time. It also needs to be pumped constantly to keep the air flowing. On one side (the right) there is a small keyboard for the melody and on the other side (left) are an array of buttons that produce the chords for the harmony.
It takes a little co-ordination to work the right hand melody, the left hand chord buttons and to remember to keep pumping the air.
