THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!
This is a challenge I put a lot of effort into becoming eligible for and am thrilled I can finally bring it to the Banks-Vernonia Trail. I have a feeling that a lot of you will have work to do to qualify, even some of you longtimers. But I believe in you!
To qualify for this challenge, you must have found 100 of the following:
- ✓
100 caches of type "Dogs allowed"
- ✓
100 caches of type "Watch for livestock"
- ✓
100 caches of type "Ticks"
- ✓
100 caches of type "Dangerous animals"
- ✓
100 caches of type "Horses allowed"
My current results are shown below, as an example of what is required:
Chalupa_Dad has used Project-GC to see if he qualified for this challenge and he did.
- ✓
Chalupa_Dad has found 1094 caches of type "Dogs allowed"
- ✓
Chalupa_Dad has found 100 caches of type "Watch for livestock"
- ✓
Chalupa_Dad has found 148 caches of type "Ticks"
- ✓
Chalupa_Dad has found 167 caches of type "Dangerous animals"
- ✓
Chalupa_Dad have found 108 caches of type "Horses allowed"
Since this part of the Banks-Vernonia Trail can only be accessed from the provided parking coordinates, you will have a decently sized hike to get to the container. This is a wonderful trail for bikes if you would like to shorten the find time.
Thanks to djkfisher for creating the original Oregon version of this challenge and for giving me the blessing to pilfer it. Use the checker below to confirm whether you qualify. Good luck!
CONGRATS TO PDXJim & eyekwilt2 FOR THE CO-FTF (HIS 3RD & HER 2ND ON ONE OF MY HIDES, RESPECTIVELY)!! Honorable mention goes to lwestbroetje for being the first to sign the log, but who hadn't quite completed the challenge when she signed.
