28th August - Clearing Trails at Robinswood Hill
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Free parking is available in the main country park car park, headline coordinates.
Where: We will meet by the Rangers Station, see the waypoint . If joining us after the start time please send a message so we can update you on our location along the trail.
What: We will be lightly trimming along the edges of trails, cutting back brambles and nettles, taking care not to disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have shears, loppers and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
