2024年10月1日東京都民の日を記念して、東京都内にある３つの恩賜公園（井の頭恩賜公園、上野恩賜公園、猿江恩賜公園）にキャッシュを設置しました。
上野恩賜公園は1873（明治6）年の太政官布達によって、芝、浅草、深川、飛鳥山と共に、日本で初めて公園に指定されました。
江戸時代には東叡山寛永寺の境内地でしたが、明治維新後に官有地となりました。
大正１３年に宮内省を経て東京市に下賜されたため「恩賜」の名称がついています。
本キャッシュは上野恩賜公園内の東京都美術館裏にあります。タイミングによっては警備マグルがいて探すのが厳しいようです。難しいときは無理をしないようにお願いします。 ヒントを参照してアタリをつけておいて、サクっと取り出し＆戻してください。
I set up caches in three onshi-parks in Tokyo (Inokashira Park, Ueno Park, and Sarue Park).
Ueno Park was the first park in Japan to be designated as a park, with Shiba, Asakusa, Fukagawa, and Asukayama, by a proclamation from the Dajokan in 1873 (Meiji 6).
During the Edo period, it was the grounds of Toeizan Kan'ei-ji Temple, after the Meiji Restoration it became government property.
It was bestowed to the city of Tokyo via the Imperial Household Ministry in 1924, hence the name "onshi."
The cache is located behind the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno Park.
