Objetivo
Esta Cache pretende convidar o utilizador a apreciar o património construído e natural a partir deste ponto.
Estamos perante a ponte do Pisão que, segundo informações recolhidas, foi recuperada em 2015 pela Câmara Municipal do Funchal, após ter sido destruída pelo o temporal de 20 de fevereiro de 2010. Consideraram então a preservação do património arquitetónico “pela dimensão e estrutura de construção em pedra aparelhada, com um único arco.”.
Esta obra foi também uma peça fundamental para o acesso pedonal ao Centro Temático da água, reabilitando a estrutura e revestimentos da Ponte. À época o valor da obra foi de cerca de 46.500€.
Em termos naturais podemos encontrar a imponente cascata do Pisão com cerca de 200m de altura e a continuidade da Levada dos tornos que “furou o terreiro da luta desde a zona da cache da cascata do Curral pequeno, passando em profundidade pelo terreiro da luta, através do Túnel do Pisão, com cerca de 1.5km.

Sobre a Cache:
Nesta zona há elementos naturais que assistiram a todas estas transformações na paisagem, sendo elas próprias intrusas, mas que se adaptaram bem a este cenário e são elementos que o enquadram.
Para a encontrar olhe para a paisagem, e não utilize a força. Tenha cuidado para não deixar cair o logbook. Quando a guardar, rode até encontrar a posição correta, sem esforçar, e verifique se não ficou à vista.

This Cache aims to invite the user to appreciate the built and natural heritage from this point.
We are facing the Pisão bridge which, according to information collected, was recovered in 2015 by the Funchal City Council, after being destroyed by the storm of February 20, 2010. They then considered the preservation of the architectural heritage “due to the size and construction structure in dressed stone, with a single arch.”.
This work was also a fundamental piece for pedestrian access to the Water Theme Center, rehabilitating the structure and coverings of the Bridge. At the time, the value of the work was around €46,500.
In natural terms, we can find the imposing Pisão waterfall, around 200m high, and the continuity of the Levada dos Tors that “pierced the fighting ground from the cache area of the Curral Pequeno waterfall, passing in depth through the fighting ground, through from the Pisão Tunnel, approximately 1.5km.

In this area there are natural elements that have witnessed all these transformations in the landscape, being themselves intruders, but that have adapted well to this scenario and are elements that frame it.
To find it, look at the landscape, and don't use force. Be careful not to drop the logbook. When storing it, turn it until you find the correct position, without straining, and check that it is not visible.
